The Haus is a 21+ community. Age verification is required before access to age-restricted server spaces. Verification confirms eligibility; it is not an invitation to disclose more than required.
You will never be required to disclose your sexuality, gender identity, addiction history, recovery status, or another deeply personal experience just to belong.

“Show Up. Be You. Belong Here.” There is no perfect answer; we want to understand how you connect with the spirit of the Haus.
04 Can you honor every recovery journey?
Can you respect people wherever they are in recovery or substance use, without judgment, pressure, or shame? This is a required yes or no.
05 Can you respect identity, privacy, and consent?
Members’ names, pronouns, identities, boundaries, privacy, and consent must be respected. This is also a required yes or no.
06 Is there anything staff should know?
This final note is optional. Share only what you are comfortable sharing.

The Haus should feel understandable before it asks you to trust it. These are the answers prospective members most often need.
01 Do I need to be a drag performer?
No. The Haus is inspired by drag-house chosen family, but it is open beyond performers. You can arrive as an artist, an ally, a friend, a quiet observer, or simply yourself.
02 Do I have to be LGBTQIA+?
The Haus is queer-centered and welcomes LGBTQIA+ people, people affected by addiction or recovery, supportive allies, and people from many backgrounds. Respect for the community is required; a particular label is not.
03 Do I have to be sober?
No. Members may be sober, actively using substances, reducing their use, navigating relapse, or supporting someone they care about. Nobody may shame, pressure, ridicule, or encourage unsafe behavior.
04 Is the Haus 21+?
Yes. The Haus is an adults-only community. Age verification is required before access to age-restricted server spaces, and members should share only the information required by the approved verification process.
05 Can I participate without Discord?
Yes. The website offers the public welcome, Haus information, resources, events, and the moderated lounge when enabled. Discord remains the doorway to the full channel-based community experience.
06 Who moderates the community?
Haus Bouncers and Go Go Dancers are the moderation team. Bouncers center protection and boundaries; Go Go Dancers center connection and room energy. Both uphold the same standards with care.
07 Is the Haus therapy or crisis care?
No. The Haus offers belonging, peer connection, and trusted information. It does not replace professional treatment, emergency services, medical care, or crisis counseling.
